What the project is for
RobotTransformation explores a common way to describe tasks, authority, results, and recovery across robots, equipment, and services. The practical aim is to reduce the work a system integrator spends authoring workflows, diagnosing failures, recovering from uncertain outcomes, and handing a system over.
This is a personal project, separate from employer work. Its public development home brings together the earlier RX Platform and RX Solutions sources while preserving their histories.
What the preview covers
The v0.1.0 release, published on October 8, records a simulation workflow for configuring a material alignment/regrasp task, saving and reopening its configuration, executing that version, and inspecting its result on the action graph.
The workflow distinguishes completion, confirmed failure, an unknown outcome with retained resource custody, and reconciliation after a lost start response. These distinctions matter because losing a response is not evidence that the underlying work never happened.
Verification status as of October 11
The release notes record post-publication verification failures following earlier passing promotion checks. Guarded-shutdown confirmation and lost-start-response effect evidence remain under investigation. The original changed-material failure also remains part of the unresolved record.
This is a source preview, not an installable product or qualification for physical operation. A release tag, a passing simulation, and a physical completion or safety claim are different kinds of evidence.
